Rob Kerr, Vice-President, GlobeScan Incorporated

Water Usage Session Chair. With roots in sustainable development, GlobeScan is an international opinion research firm providing insights and counsel to a broad range of global companies, multilateral organizations, and NGOs. Rob Kerr worked briefly in the mining industry in Canada, followed by 15 years of general management in the petrochemicals business in Canada, the US, and Europe. In the early 1990’s, Rob worked at the International Institute for Sustainable Development, followed by a stint for an international NGO on “responsible mining.”  At GlobeScan, Rob manages stakeholder research on issues and reputation management for a number of large companies in the mining, chemicals, and energy sectors. Rob has visited several mine-sites and mining communities in South America.
